These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BooksXperts platform ("BooksXperts", "we", "us") operated by Books Xperts (Pty) Ltd, a company incorporated in South Africa. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
You may use BooksXperts only for lawful purposes and only in accordance with these Terms and any applicable South African legislation, including the Companies Act 71 of 2008, the Income Tax Act, the VAT Act, and POPIA.
Paid features are billed monthly in South African Rand. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of pricing changes. You may cancel your subscription at any time; pre-paid periods are not refundable.
You retain ownership of all financial data you enter or upload. We process that data on your behalf to provide the platform services. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Annual Financial Statements ("AFS") generated by BooksXperts are compiled from data you provide. They are intended for use by the company's directors, members, owners or accountants as a working document. Compliance with IFRS for SMEs and the Companies Act remains the responsibility of the company and its appointed accountant or independent reviewer.
BooksXperts is provided "as is". We do not give warranties as to fitness for any particular purpose. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at the address linked to your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
